(TRYON, NC) – Rescued will be featured as part of the 7th annual Tryon International Film Festival lineup in October 2021.
“We are honored that our film’s first festival screening will be in Tryon,” said Rescued’s director, Daljit Kalsi. “Tryon always puts on a great show and the entire community gets involved in the festival.”
Kalsi’s 2017 film, “Bound,” won Best Overall in that year’s festival, and Kalsi’s growing body of work has been featured in the festival each year since. Rescued will be Kalsi’s first feature-length piece to be included in the festival
Rescued will screen on October 10th in the Tryon Theater, a state-of-the-art cinema in the heart of town, which has been in continuous operation for more than 80 years. Five other screening venues will host this year’s lineup of films across town.
Tryon’s film festival will also offer virtual options for those who want to see the films but cannot make it to the in-person events. Tickets for in-person and virtual screenings will go on sale soon here.
